Kristen received her Masters of Neuroscience from Carleton University in 2013, as well as a Masters of Educational Counselling from the University of Ottawa in 2015. Kristen has worked extensively in providing support to individuals who experience depression, anxiety, grief, and stress, as well as individuals who experience symptoms related to conditions such as post traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, post concussive disorder, etc. She also administers intake assessments and assists in psychometric analysis. Kristen’s research background includes examination of neurological and psychosocial determinants of health. Her training has included Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing and Neurotherapeutic approaches including biofeedback. Kristen has keen interest in QEEG assessments and provides comprehensive reviews of individual data. Kristen’s wide breadth of training and experience allows her to tailor her support to individuals based on their history and goals. Kristen’s services are covered under extended health care plans under the supervision of Dr. Presniak.
